Spicy Fish Tempoyak


Ingredients for marinade:

1cm turmeric

1cm galangal

5 bird’s eye chilli

2 stalks lemongrass

2 kesum leaves

1 red onion, diced

1 tsp white peppercorn

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

4 tbsp tempoyak

1 tbsp ghee

4 tbsp MARIGOLD Evaporated Full Cream Milk




1 fish

4 banana leaves

2 turmeric leaves


  1. Marinate fish with blended ingredients. Wrap it in turmeric leaf and banana leaf. Leave it in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
  2. Bake in oven at 180?C for 20 minutes or until fish is cooked.
